A chara Dhíl,

The last phase of the Boundary hearing took place this week. The A. Genl and P. Lynch were heard mainly on the issue that it was not open to the Boundary Cmn. to take any territory or area from us. We have heard from Murnaghan that the Atty Genl was not at his best and that Lynch was weak - very weak.

I suggested that MacNeill should put in a caveat or some similar instrument giving if possible stronger reasons & also mentioned that I was sure if I approached you any assistance [matter missing in original] I only met him once - at Beechpark at a Garden Party - or perhaps you would not like me to do anything in that connection.

I am sure MacNeill would be available at any time you are in a position to see him.

Mis[e],
