Extract from minutes of a meeting of the Executive Council (C.2/227)

DUBLIN, 21 November 1925

BOUNDARY.

Dr. MacNeill tendered to the Executive Council his resignation as a member of the Irish Boundary Commission in the following terms:-

'21st November, 1925,1

President.

I request the Executive Council to accept my resignation of my position as Irish member of the Irish Boundary Commission as I foresee no likelihood of an award in the terms of the Treaty'.

(sd) EOIN MACNEILL'.

After a full statement from Dr. MacNeill of the reasons for his action his resignation from the Commission was approved:-

'Dr. MacNeill has tendered to the Executive Council his resignation as a member of the Irish Boundary Commission. The resignation has been accepted.'
