Discussions with the British Government:
Establishment of Inter-Departmental Committee
(G.C. 2/283) (Item 7)

DUBLIN, 8 July 1941

It was decided that an Inter-Departmental Committee should be established with a view to co-ordination between the various Departments concerned in discussions on trade and other matters taking place from time to time with representatives of the British Government. The Committee is to consist of representatives of the Departments of External Affairs, Finance, Supplies, Agriculture, Defence and Industry and Commerce and the Secretary of the Department of External Affairs is to act as Chairman.1
