Minute from Brian Gallagher to John W. Dulanty (London)

Dublin, 7 July 1947

With reference to your letters of the 20th May1 and 12th June2 relative to Mrs. Margaret Joyce, widow of William Joyce, I have to state that the Minister for Justice takes the view that the presence of this lady in Ireland might prove an embarrassment and that her application for permission to come here should be refused. It is possible that the matter may not be further pursued by your correspondent but if it is would you please convey this decision to him.
