Following consideration of a memorandum dated the 19th June, 1953,1 submitted by the Minister of Agriculture relative to the Interim Committee to be established, pursuant to a resolution of the European Conference on the Organization of Agricultural Markets held in Paris in March, 1953, to study further the economic and financial problems involved and the type of organization necessary for achieving the unification of European agricultural markets, it was decided that Ireland should not participate in the work of the proposed Interim Committee.
