Following consideration of a memorandum dated the 29th October, 1953,¹ submitted by the Minister for External Affairs relative to the accredition of Dominic Paul McGuire as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Australia to Ireland, it was decided that a communication covering the points mentioned in paragraph 8 of the memorandum should be addressed to the Australian Government in terms to be settled by the Taoiseach and the Minister for External Affairs.
