DUBLIN, 14 February 1923
CUSTOMS FRONTIER BETWEEN SAORSTÁT ÉIREANN AND THE SIX COUNTY AREA. A memorandum from the Finance Department setting out alternative arrangements to the setting up of a Customs barrier between SAORSTÁT ÉIREANN and the Six Counties was considered.
It was decided that arrangements for the establishment of a Customs frontier should be proceeded with at once, so as to be in operation as from the 1st April next.
