Extract from minutes of a meeting of the Executive Council (C.1/75)

DUBLIN, 27 March 1923

BRITISH EMPIRE EXHIBITION.
Reference was made to the fact that it had already been provisionally decided (Ref.C.1/41 of 2/2/23)1 to participate in the British Empire Exhibition to be held in London this year, but in view of the pressing necessity for reducing expenditure to the lowest possible level, it was now decided not to take part in the Exhibition in question.
