Commercial Treaties - General Policy

Consideration having been given to a memorandum submitted by the Minister for Industry and Commerce under date of 14th May, 1928,¹ the Minister was authorised to proceed with the negotiation of Commercial treaties with foreign countries on a most-favoured-nation basis, and with Dominion countries as far as may be practicable, on a most-favoured-Dominion basis.
