Note by William T. Cosgrave on appeals to the Privy Council

Dublin, undated, late 1930

The Executive Council has not considered the question of the Privy Council recently. It only arises when and if cases are listed for leave to appeal to that body (or court). Steps have been already taken when such cases arise and there is no immediate necessity for taking any legislative action. The matter however is one which Government policy will be brought before the Dáil before the conclusion of the session.
