With reference to Mr. Hearne's letter of the 13th instant and enclosures,5 I have to inform you that the Executive Council at their meeting on the 14th instant, pursuant to Section 5 of the League of Nations (Obligations of Membership) Act, 1935, made an Order entitled League of Nations (Obligations of Membership) (Revocation) Order, 1936, in the terms of the annexed draft.
Arrangements are being made to lay the Order before the Dáil, and to publish the appropriate notice in Iris Oifigiúil.
A similar notification has been sent to the Minister for Finance, Minister for Industry and Commerce, Minister for Agriculture, and the Revenue Commissioners.
