INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION ON BROADCASTING IN CAUSE OF PEACE, 1936: Accession of Saorstát
Authority was given to the Minister for External Affairs to arrange for the accession of Saorstát Éireann to the International Convention concerning the Use of Broadcasting in the Cause of Peace, which had been signed at Geneva on 23rd September, 19361.

1 Handwritten marginal note by Nicholas Nolan (Department of the Taoiseach): 'Note: The Irish Instrument of Accession to the above-mentioned Convention was deposited withthe League of Nations on the 25th May 1938 - see Treaty Series, No. 4 of 1938. NS Ó N [Nioclás Ó Nualláin], 30.1.52'.
