A Russian attack on Berlin is also expected. I have not yet heard of Government or administration moving from Berlin en bloc. I think some of Foreign Office were in central German towns occupied last week. It is generally expected that this region will be occupied by Americans or French.

[matter omitted]

Endeavouring to obtain exit visa for next visit to Switzerland but communications with Berlin naturally getting worse.
