Dublin, 20 March 1946

Consideration was given to a memorandum dated 12th March, 1946, submitted by the Minister for Industry and Commerce,¹ relative to the preparation of legislation to establish a customs-free airport at the Shannon Airport, Rineanna. Authority was granted for the drafting of a Bill on the lines of the general scheme submitted with the memorandum.
