My dear Signor Rizzo,
You will have already heard that the Army Jumping Team has left to attend the Horse Show at Rome. I am very glad that our horses will be able to compete.
I should like to take this opportunity of expressing to you my sense of the debt which Europe owes to the leadership of Signor de Gasperi and his colleagues in connection with recent affairs in Italy, and my appreciation of the magnificent response of the Italian people.
