'Fishery of the River Foyle: Proposed discussion with the Government of Northern Ireland'

Dublin, 6 December 1949

Following consideration of a memorandum dated the 15th November, 1949,1 relative to the Fishery of the River Foyle between the town of Lifford and the mouth of Lough Foyle, submitted by the Minister for Agriculture with an addendum thereto by the Attorney General, it was decided that the Attorney General, should, on behalf of the Government, discuss joint action with the Government of Northern Ireland for the acquisition of the Fishery by both Governments and for the joint management of the Fishery thereafter.
